Forged for the long nights between stations, the Vanta Arc Trainer is the blade most travellers carry first and keep longest. Its hilt is milled from a single bar of aluminium, bead-blasted to a soft graphite grey and wrapped in numbered leather. Wake it and the polycarbonate blade fills with a slow, even glow in any of twelve colours, from comet white to deep ember. It is balanced for drills and light sparring, quiet on the belt, and loud in a dark room. Built to arrive whole, packed in a moulded sleeve, and to outlast the hands that train with it.
